U.S. President Donald Trump’s war of choice in Iran has always been against the American majority as well as the majority of members of Congress. And as he refuses to extricate the U.S. from this war, he makes desperate decisions that further alienate the voting public with only three weeks left before the mid-term election. Republicans have had control of both houses and backed Trump’s decisions. Polls show Democrats will take control of the House and possibly the Senate. If both, they will begin proceedings that could lead to another impeachment of Trump. He already, in his first term in office, was impeached twice by the House. The only reason the Senate didn’t find him guilty, thus remove him from office, was the Senate was controlled by Republicans. A president impeached twice had never occurred in the nation’s 250 years. I believe Trump was guilty of insurrection and thus should have gone to prison.

Trump Deemed the Worst President in History the First Time

After that happened, the Presidential Greatness Project—a respected group of historians who specialize in writing books about U.S. presidents—announced their agreement that Donald Trump was in his first term the worst president the U.S. has ever had. It consisted of 154 presidential scholars and political scientists, and all of them were members of the American Political Science Association. In their vote, Donald Trump, the 45th U.S. president, received a rating of 10.92 out of 100 to rank 45th out of 45 presidents, thus in last place.

Yet Donald Trump, the current 47th U.S. president, struts around bragging all the time, as is his usual style, about how great a president he is and that he should be awarded a Nobel Prize for Peace while conducting his war of choice against Iran. To make matters worse, this weekend he declared that the U.S. will purchase a considerable amount of diesel gasoline from Russia in an effort to lower the escalating price of diesel that hurts especially farmers and truckers. Trump is doing this to try to get mid-term votes for Republican candidates. But it appears to be backfiring since Trump went against a law passed by Congress in 2022 that forbids the U.S. to purchase petroleum from Russia due to its war of aggression against Ukraine. Significant Republican senators are declaring their strong opposition to this Trump decision to purchase Russian oil.

Is Donald Donald Trump a Russian Asset?

President Trump also announced that Ukraine President Zelenskyy should resign. Most Americans favor Ukraine and President Zelenskyy. Trump has had a volatile relationship to Zelensky, who I believe has been a master in balancing political tensions with foreign leaders. Moreover, I had blogged multiple times that I believe Donald Trump has been what is called in the intelligence community “a Russian asset” (such people don’t necessarily realized it) ever since Russia started trying to groom him in about 1987. At that time, Donald Trump paid for big advertisements in the New York Times advocating for Russia and against NATO. I think this shows that Trump has always been an admirer of Russia and its dictators and thus not a believer in American democracy.

Letterman Told Trump He Was a “Big Bag of Hot Wind”

All of this is to say that Donald Trump has been going down, down, down as U.S. president. His poll ratings continue to drop terribly, into the mid-30% or worse of people who approve of his presidency. Although it is not my nature to glory in another person’s misfortunes, I do believe in civility, justice, and speaking the truth, all of which are very lacking in Donald Trump. When he announced his candidacy for the U.S. presidency in 2015, I soon came to the opinion that he was exactly what David Letterman asked Trump on his show, “Aren’t you just a big bag of hot wind?”

The Bible Predicts Trump Fall

I had already decided that Donald Trump was not at all qualified to be U.S. president. And during his first year in office, I came to the strong conviction that he did not believe in American democracy, which I blogged about. That is, Donald Trump believes only in himself. Thus, all the time he has been president, he has wanted to be an autocrat if not a dictator of this nation. He continues to prove the truth of the title of my book about him, which is Bible Predicts Trump Fall. Why? The Bible says, “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall” (Proverbs 16.18). And it says, “When pride comes, then comes disgrace” (Proverbs 11.2). As I have blogged many times, Donald Trump is the biggest liar I have ever seen in my lifetime, and he is certainly one of the most arrogant people I have ever seen.
