My tulips got me thinking about Easter.

One blooming tulip brightens its surroundings of green and brown, grass and dirt, contrasting its brilliant colors and catching every eye. The reborn Jesus-follower does the same. Leave the dark! Shine the light of Christ within you! Arise, holy one, and go forth. But you are not alone. Join your festive throng of brothers and sisters in Christ. Beauty thrives in community and blesses the watching world.

Romans 8:11 If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
