It may sound kind of woo-woo, but the truth is that we really can rewire our brains and essentially hack ourselves to create better outcomes and experiences with just a few simple techniques and daily practices.

I first came across this scientific study about 7 years ago while working for a large international technology distribution firm. Our HR department had put together a new internal presentation for employees to encourage us to employ these techniques as a way to increase collaboration, inspire creativity and create stronger team-building initiatives in our organization.

The science behind the presentation really intrigued me, so I went back to my desk and started digging a little deeper into the study they referenced from UCLA. That’s when I also found a similar study had been done at UC Davis about brain plasticity and how to hack your mind to create better outcomes that led to improved mental and physical health.

Both studies showed that rewiring your brain was not only possible, it was actually scientifically proven to help increase brain function, reduce stress, improve mental health, and reduce your risk for heart disease and anxiety.

I was blown away.

The company I was working for was a Fortune 50 company with billions of dollars in profits and dozens of locations all around the globe. Our clients were the largest IT companies on the planet: Apple, IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, etc., and if our HR department was convinced that these techniques could help our company become more profitable and our employees more creative, collaborative and more healthy, it was certainly something worth looking into.

After reading both studies and listening to interviews with scientists who had participated in the research projects, I realized that this was something that anyone could tap into.

Once I started incorporating these techniques into my own life, the results were astounding. I really did enjoy more peace of mind, more creativity, and a better perspective on my life in general, the more I utilized these techniques.

So, a few year later when I started my Square 1 online course and community for people who are going through spiritual deconstruction, I included an entire session on Rewiring Our Brains which nearly everyone who took the course said was their favorite week in the program.

But recently I’ve realized that these techniques deserved their own separate course. So many people I know – whether they’re going through deconstruction or not – suffer from an inability to break out of toxic feedback loops in their behavior. They find themselves falling into depression over what’s happening in the world, they get triggered daily by what they read on social media, they can’t seem to escape the funk they find themselves in over struggles at work or at home…and I know that learning these few simple techniques could really help them find the resources they need to escape that seemingly inescapable revolving door of negativity.

So, starting on Friday, June 14, I’ll be offering an expanded online course over on QuoirAcademy.com to teach these simple techniques to anyone who feels the need to experience more joy and peace in their daily life.

Full disclosure: I am not a licensed therapist. This is no substitute for therapy or professional counseling. It’s not a cure-all for every mental health problem you may suffer from. But, it is a scientifically proven technique that anyone can use as a resource to rewire their brain and shift the polarity of their minds away from toxic negativity and stress.
