Ephesians 4:1-6

“…I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” (emphasis mine)

Once we have awakened to our Oneness with Christ, and our connection to everyone, everywhere, how then should we live? The Quantum Apostle suggests that this realization should lead us to “live a life worthy” of this truth and to devote ourselves entirely to keeping “the unity of the Spirit.”

The Oneness of God is the Oneness of Humanity. The Oneness of Christ is the Oneness of the Universe. All of reality is simply this: God is “over all and through all and in all.” This truth should humble us. It must silence our egos. It must reorient our minds and transform our hearts.

Everything we see vibrates with the frequency of Christ. Everyone we encounter is alive with the presence of the Divine. Every breath is permeated with the spirit of the living God. The reason the Psalmist could ask, “Where can I go from your presence, O God?” is because everything and everyone is an expression of God. The sky, the earth, the sunlight, the rainfall, all of it, and more, is God in disguise.

Now that this disguise is visible to us; now that we cannot unknow what we know about the nature of God and reality, there is only one thing left for us to do: Devote ourselves to the Unity of everything.

This is not an easy thing to do. Our minds fall back into the illusion over and over again. We forget that this person is not separate from us, and that the people around us are extensions of Godself, and that we are One with everything. We need reminding, almost constantly, that we are the Ones in whom God lives, and moves, and has being; that whatever we are doing is what God is doing; that Christ has no body now but ours.

But this is what the Apostle Paul urges us to do: To keep the unity of the Spirit above all things; to remember that there is one body, and one Spirit, and one hope, and one Lord, and one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

In fact, these truths only make sense if there is no separation between the Divine and us. If separation were true, then all of these concepts are empty poetic nonsense that no one needs to take very seriously. But if the truth is that we are all One with God, and united to one another, then these ideas are the most important concepts imaginable, and nothing else matters.

Paul writes as if nothing else matters except our Oneness with God. He believes in the Quantum nature of reality.

Maybe we should too.
