Last updated on: June 11, 2020 at 9:09 pm By Cyndi Brannen
Were you the strange child wandering in the woods? Perhaps you mixed potions out of toothpaste and shampoo? So many things happened along the way. The witches' journey is not meant to be easy. Our path back to the spiritual home of witchcraft is perilous. We arrive having paid high costs. Practicing Moon Magick
Last updated on: June 11, 2020 at 9:20 pm By Cyndi Brannen
It is natural for the witch to summon the moon’s energy. We draw her down, reside in her shadows, ride her winds and rise from her waves. This is the remembering of what we have always known. The moon is our divine mediator: the merging of the stars, darkness, and earth. Our ally in working with the forces and spirits. Practicing lunar magick involves drawing the moon into our rituals and spells, merging with our focus and then releasing it, including The Sacred Seven Moon Summoning technique. Read more

What Is Shadow Syndrome?
Last updated on: June 11, 2020 at 9:31 pm By Cyndi Brannen
Shadow Syndrome is characterized by feelings of unworthiness, of being a fraud, and looking to others for validation. While this can be debilitating, it's actually a gift that can lead us towards our truth. One of the costs of witchcraft is learning to understand the darkness, including that which lives within us. Often these symptoms arise because the authentic witch within is telling us that it's time to walk our authentic path. This is the calling to heal our shadows and claim the title of real witch, however we define it. Read more

Keeping Her Keys: The Rise Of Hekate And Her Witches
Last updated on: June 13, 2020 at 4:50 pm By Cyndi Brannen
Hail to the keys, the crossroads, the torch, and most of all, the moon. For those are the gifts of Hekate's Modern Witchcraft. The keys of magick and mystery that she freely gives to those bold enough to claim them. Behold the power of her crossroads, the otherness of the witch. Dare we enter this space between worlds and beyond time? Follow her pale torchlight, if you will. For it is your choice alone. Lastly, to the moon above, forever watching over our witchery. These are the gifts of Hekate's Modern Witchcraft, as ancient as Circe and as eternal as the Witch-Mother herself. To the future, where we are free to practice as we so chose, living a life of sovereign power. And to the community of witches who follow this journey. Hail to Hekate, Keeper of the Keys! Read more

The Witch Who Serves No One
Last updated on: June 13, 2020 at 4:56 pm By Cyndi Brannen
Witchcraft is, above all, a way for us to stand in the power of our personal truth. Witches should serve no one, not deities, spirits or other humans. We are sovereign practitioners who ultimately are responsible for our own actions. There shouldn't been any room for servitude. Haven't we been forced into supplication long enough? Read more
