A Marriage Turned Sour

The Husband:

Stoic. Thinks everything through. Can’t make a decision. Avoids controversy. Walks away from a fight. Spends all his free time playing basketball, drinking beer, running with his homies. A bit of a Peter Pan, who refuses to grow up. Buys what he wants when he wants it, but complains they can’t afford it whenever she wants something new.

The Wife:

Emotive. Cries over Every. Single. Little. Bitty thing, especially during that time of the month. Likes to process by talking. And talking. And talking. (How do you think she earned that title, Speaker of the House?) Decisive, but a bit of a bully when it comes to getting her own way. Likes to dig in those high heels of hers. Impulsive buyer. Sneaky about how she spends her money (and his) on things she just has to have.

Is it any wonder this marriage has turned sour?

Despite enjoying wide support from friends and families, these two just can’t seem to get along to save this country. Weeks of counseling have yielded no compromise from either side. Their battles over the family budget continue to escalate.

It won’t be long now before headlines announce they’ve called it quits.
