Prophecy Watch: Bitcoin ATM

Prophecy Watch: Bitcoin ATM is a prophecy watch about the first digital currency in the United States to have its own ATM.

Bitcoins are a digital currency. Bitcoins could be the forerunners of a cashless society. The first Bitcoin ATM in the United States in Austin, Texas.

Here is a brief description from Wikipedia:

Bitcoin is the world’s first cryptocurrency, a form of electronic cash sent peer-to-peer without the need for a financial intermediary. It is the first decentralized digital currency: the system works without a central bank or single administrator. Bitcoins are sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer Bitcoin network directly, without the need for intermediaries. These transactions are verified by network nodes through cryptography and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain. Bitcoin was invented by an unknown person or group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto and released as open-source software in 2009.

There are people who question how effective Bitcoins will be as a digital currency. However, the path has been set. We are moving to a cashless society. Whether Bitcoin will be the form of a cashless society remains to be seen. However, the world will eventually move from hard currency to a digital currency that will use different mechanisms for transactions.
