In Defense of Praying for my Future Wife

Last updated on: March 13, 2026 at 6:03 pm   By Rev. Jared V. Ingle

I have found it necessary to offer a defense of my last two articles. I don’t know that I’ve ever done this before, but I did receive some pushback. My last two articles were prayers for my future wife. Valentine’s Day | To Pray for What Seems to be Impossible CLICK More Musings About Love… CLICK These prayers may seem a little silly. In fact, these articles may seem a little silly. After all, I am recently divorced. Should I be holding... Read more

More Musings About Love…

Last updated on: March 6, 2026 at 12:38 pm   By Rev. Jared V. Ingle

These are some more musings about love, small prayers summarizing larger prayer times. See previous prayers Valentine’s Day | To Pray for What Seems to be Impossible CLICK 01.23.26 I pray that my future wife will have never dabbled in witchcraft so that she will not be tempted to go back to witchcraft now that she’s a Christian. Valentine’s Day | To Pray for What Seems to be Impossible

Last updated on: February 13, 2026 at 9:15 pm   By Rev. Jared V. Ingle

I have been taking time to pray for what seems to be impossible… just… about… every… day… 01.10.26 I have cleaned you. You are pure! Prayer for future wife… For my thoughts to always drift to her 01.11.26 Prayer for remarriage… Make me ready A regular customer came in to work yesterday. We’re both divorcees. Fully Human vs. Sub-Human | Children vs. Dogs

Last updated on: January 24, 2026 at 1:39 pm   By Rev. Jared V. Ingle

And now it’s time to talk about dogs. I venture into a topic that I am hesitant to write about in a formal setting. I’m going to share an example of God-given dreams. Dreams are not only written throughout the stories of the Bible, but they are also promised for the Pentecostal renewal (Joel 2.28; Acts 2.17). In my family I am a 3rd generation Pentecostal. I have a rich heritage of divine interventions from the miraculous to dreams to... Read more

A Word on Divorce

Last updated on: December 31, 2025 at 12:03 pm   By Rev. Jared V. Ingle

“Maybe you went through a breakup. You had a divorce. Who told you that you’ll never be happy again? Who told you that that disappointment has ruined your future, that you’ll never meet anyone? The enemy wouldn’t be telling you that if he didn’t know it was going to happen. That’s why he’s trying to deceive you into living negative, doubting, thinking you’ve missed your chance. Tune that out. God has beauty for the ashes. The right person, a divine... Read more

The Time is Coming and Now Is

Last updated on: December 7, 2025 at 8:50 pm   By Rev. Jared V. Ingle

“The time is coming and now is!” This is a recurring phrase used by Jesus in the Gospel of John (John 4.23; 5.25; 16.32). The phrase is mainly in a prophetic or eschatological framework. The Gospel of Matthew uses the term time, also translated as hour. Matthew uses it in a prophetic framework often. Mark and Luke use the term time or hour as well, but not as often as Matthew and John. re-imagining time The New Testament is not... Read more

Subjective Experiences with Peace

Last updated on: October 24, 2025 at 12:42 pm   By Rev. Jared V. Ingle

subjective peace is questionable I totally understand the Old Testament concept of peace, transliterated shalom. It is the entire basis for community in the Hebrew Bible. Shalom is a shared peace, not necessarily subjective at all. It is the peace that we have between God and man, but also the peace that we have between man and man. Shalom includes the ideas of wellness and wholeness, not just of individuals, but also of the community. Shalom is used as a... Read more

A Hard Saying of Christ

Last updated on: October 15, 2025 at 1:17 pm   By Rev. Jared V. Ingle

This is a hard saying of Christ and a radical call to discipleship. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold, and will inherit eternal life. Matthew 19.29, NRSV Jesus said, ‘Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields, for my sake and for the sake... Read more

The Man in Esther’s Life

Last updated on: September 25, 2025 at 12:01 am   By Rev. Jared V. Ingle

Esther is a Biblical character who is very interesting. One thing that makes the book of Esther unique is that God is not mentioned anywhere in the book. This is the only book of the Bible where God is not mentioned. This is just a side note for those who would love to read an engaging story about Providence. What about the man in Esther’s life? We read his backstory in chapter 1. King Ahasuerus is not just a king.... Read more

The Old Day is Ending | Renewal has Come

Last updated on: September 3, 2025 at 4:31 pm   By Rev. Jared V. Ingle

The old day is ending. Renewal has come. This list of Scripture was birthed out of a couple days of prayer. Every once in awhile songs will come to me like I suppose they would to a D.J. I’ve made many lists on Spotify. I’ve been listening to this one a lot lately CLICK At times it’s the same way with Scripture. One will flow right after another seamlessly ministering to me in the depths of my soul. Such is... Read more
