Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back– Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.
~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
What is it that you truly want? Stronger than setting an intention to be a powerful and masterful dreamer, a declaration is a lightening rod of conductivity to energize the law of your being. You’ve already accepted dream work as a powerful tool to assist you in elevating all areas of your life. Declare to yourself, to the Dream Maker, and to the universe that you WILL RECALL YOUR NIGHTTIME DREAMS. And so it shall be done.
Now look upon your waking life: What is it that you truly desire to explore, manifest, and BECOME? The Founding Fathers of America didn’t create the “Hope of Independence,” nor did they create the “Intention of Independence.” They created the “Declaration of Independence,” and thus a new world was thus created.
In order to make a declaration you must search your soul to identify what it is you truly stand for, what is your life about, what you truly desire at the core of the core of your being. There is nothing frivolous about a declaration. A declaration is a laser that slices through vagaries, egocentric pretenses, and societal conditioning—all the way to the gold at the center of your soul. My desire for you is that you develop a daily ritual of inquiring into your declaration. Your declaration to remember your nighttime dreams and to live a soulful life, is the cornerstone of living the life of your dreams.
There is a saying, “Many are called, but few answer.” This is true with the Dream Maker’s Call. We are all being called every night to peek behind the curtains and glimpse the larger story of our lives. There is also a saying, “Pain pushes until inspiration pulls.” Your initiation to your Dream Declaration may come as a result of financial loss, relationship struggles, or the excruciating awareness that you are the common denominator in all aspects of your life that aren’t working. Or your life might be going great, but you know you are just scratching the surface of the untold riches of your dreaming mind.
Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.
~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
