Key Scripture<\/strong><\/h2>\n "\n What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? <\/span>32\u00a0<\/sup>He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? <\/span>This post is personal, but hopefully, it will inspire you, and remind you that God is on our side.<\/em><\/strong> Romans 8:31-3<\/strong>2 NKJV<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n My Personal Reality of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n Oh, how I love the word of God.\u00a0 I have put my hope in God\u2019s word; therefore, it is my comfort in sorrow.\u00a0 It is my strength in weakness. \u00a0God\u2019s Word is my light in darkness. It holds the answers to my questions and solutions to my problems. It is my song of victory!<\/p>\n My Real Life Recall<\/strong><\/h2>\n Do you recall how it made you feel when you knew someone was on your side?\u00a0 A more modern term now is \u201cgot your back.\u201d There\u2019s a sense of boldness, defiance, and confidence that escalates when you know someone\u2019s got your back, and you don\u2019t have to face the enemy alone.<\/p>\n I recall my school days when occasionally I\u2019d get into an altercation with a peer.\u00a0 Thankfully, it was not a way of life for me.\u00a0 Nevertheless, it was the seldom occasion that being an only child was a disadvantage.\u00a0 However, I did have an ally that I could depend on.\u00a0 I knew my cousin, Joe, was on my side, and was well able to throw a good punch in my defense.<\/p>\n Usually after-school showdowns were planned in advance.\u00a0 Advance planning allowed for a build up of assurance and confidence as well. It helped you to prepare mentally. \u00a0Although this was many years ago, I still recall the positive affect that having support had on me when facing a challenging encounter.<\/p>\n My Relevant Reassurance<\/strong><\/h2>\n Consequently, when I read Psalm 124, I could easily relate to how the Israelites could prepare themselves mentally and emotionally for worship.\u00a0 What an assurance to know that God is on our side.\u00a0 This song was one that the Israelites sang as they made their pilgrimage to the temple centuries ago. Yet, it is relevant today.<\/p>\n These are difficult times, and yet glorious times for the people of God.\u00a0\u00a0 how reassuring it is to know that God is on our side.\u00a0 God\u2019s got your back! We don\u2019t have to face the enemy alone.\u00a0 He has provided an arsenal for defense, and a physical location that we can gather to be restored, or regroup, and refuel to continue walking in purpose and pursuing destiny.<\/p>\n My Conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Key Scripture What then shall we say to these things?
