Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.
There’s nothing to be angry about. There’s nothing to be bitter about or resentful about or spiteful or discouraged or disappointed about. Because right now, here, today, in this moment, you are able to move forward with more strength and more experience and more knowledge than ever before.
Whatever brought you here is over. It has given you new strength, so use that strength. Now is your chance. Now is your big opportunity. Now is not the time to fight battles that are already over. This is your moment to move forward. This is your moment to express the best that’s within you. This is your time to make full and intelligent and purposeful use of the strength and experience you’ve already earned. This is your chance to create new value—value that can last a lifetime.
One year from now, or even ten years from now, you can look back on this day with overwhelmingly grateful appreciation for the actions that you now have the opportunity to take. The path that has brought you here may indeed be interesting and filled with drama. Yet the path to focus on is the path ahead. That’s your way to make a difference. That’s your way to make the most of the value now within you.
The path ahead is here and now, ready for you. Take a deep breath, take hold of all the energy and experience you’ve brought with you to this moment, and take the first step. Now is when you can make life great.
