Faith is Half the Battle!

Last updated on: May 28, 2026 at 9:07 am   By Tonia Renee Lee

Faith arguably is half the battle in life. This is a central theme with God’s chosen people. Esther exhibited that unshakable faith and saved her people. Emma Lazarus also exhibited strong faith. Emma Lazarus Examining Emma Lazarus’s work, “The New Colossus,” an outline of the inner struggle and turmoil experienced by the oppressed is revealed. She was concerned with all oppressed people who were bound in any way and felt that New York, situated in the United States of America,... Read more

Loving Relationships

Last updated on: May 31, 2025 at 1:45 pm   By Tonia Renee Lee

Forming relationships involves significant effort and dedication. Establishing a loving relationship necessitates love, time, effort, and commitment. There are distinct types of relationships encompassing numerous aspects of our lives, including familial relationships, educational relationships, professional relationships, romantic relationships, and platonic relationships. For most individuals, 85-95% of their time is spent with their partner, family, and colleagues. Friendships and associations tend to be secondary. This observation holds for my personal experience. Romantic Relationships Let us examine loving relationships. Feldman cites Erickson... Read more

What is the Holy Spirit?

Last updated on: April 25, 2025 at 11:05 pm   By Tonia Renee Lee

Who or what the Holy Spirit Is I am revisiting a paper I wrote while a law student at Oral Roberts University. This article discusses who and what the Holy Spirit is. While I do not claim to hold all the answers, the topic is worthy of discussion. The Holy Spirit, referred to in the Bible as the Spirit of God, is a divine presence that plays a pivotal role in guiding, comforting, and empowering believers. The concept of the... Read more

Made For Each Other

Last updated on: March 20, 2025 at 7:08 am   By Tonia Renee Lee

The man and the woman were made for each other. Scriptures that correlate with marital relationships are plentiful. In the beginning, God created roles for both men and women before the fall of man. This is conveyed in Genesis 1:26, which reads:” Let us make humankind in our image, and the likeness of ourselves; and let them rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the animals, and all over the Earth, and over every crawling creature... Read more

Yeshua, the Ethical Leader: Our Best Model

Last updated on: January 31, 2025 at 1:20 am   By Tonia Renee Lee

Yeshua is our best ethical model for leadership. Yeshua taught and still teaches us how to live in an ethical body and how to serve as ethical leaders. The model I use daily includes honesty, fairness, punctuality, temperance, consideration, and servant leadership. These traits aid in the quest for being ethical in all business and personal relationships. Yeshua was. Can’t we? Moral behavior is an everyday process for me as ethical behavior pertains directly to my character. Having a good... Read more

Succession Planning and the Church

Last updated on: December 30, 2024 at 7:33 am   By Tonia Renee Lee

Succession planning is important for organizations if they want to continue their mission. This is true even for religious places of worship. Church leadership and succession planning should not rely on one person but be workable even in their absence. Our Messiah Yeshua even realized this. Personal Traits Utilizing leadership personal traits and achieving the objective of any place of worship is an interesting approach to succession planning for leaders. The knowledge around discovering our spiritual gifts will derive at... Read more

Why and How to Worship

Last updated on: October 21, 2024 at 10:18 am   By Tonia Renee Lee

Worshipping Worship is an integral part of our relationship with God and Yeshua. John 4:24 (CJB): conveys: “God is spirit, and worshippers must worship him spiritually and truly.” Today, I would like to discuss why and how we worship. We will examine whether there is a best method of worship and how to reach people for Yeshua. Again and again, we constantly face format issues when it comes to worshipping. Is my goal to set a uniform method of worship?... Read more

Mission Possible: Combining the Old with the New

Last updated on: September 15, 2024 at 10:25 am   By Tonia Renee Lee

Yeshua’s Mission Mission Possible! Is the mission possible? The mission is possible if we combine the Old with the New. Yeshua’s essence, significance, and meaning are interconnected with Israel and inseparable. Christopher J.H. Wright in his book Knowing Jesus Through the Old Testament, explains the knowledge gleaned from the Old Testament and prepares us for the journey from promise to fulfillment. In the past, I had not made the distinction but rather viewed the Old Testament and the New Testament... Read more

Creationism & Driscoll

Last updated on: August 31, 2024 at 12:05 pm   By Tonia Renee Lee

Creationism and the Driscoll Essay are the subjects of the discussion today. While a student at Liberty University, I wrote about the Driscoll Essay. Creationism and Driscoll are revisited concerning importance and complexity. Mark Driscoll contends God may have created the earth over an extended period. Driscoll points out that the theory of the literal version of the six days of creation pertains specifically to the creation of mankind. Uncertainty abounds in terms of the age of human life. Why... Read more
