A recipe from my faith that is great at Thanksgiving dinner or at a faith-based social.

surround yourself with a good emotional support system this holiday season!
Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to show the ones you love your appreciation as well as to God for giving us a bountiful harvest. Of course, nowadays our harvests come in many different ways and are only symbolic, but the feeling of immeasurable gratitude for what God has done for us throughout the year is not. Not only is it a time to show our gratitude, but to also be a little more gracious and kind.
One way of being gracious is to make sure to not show up to Thanksgiving dinner or Thanksgiving gathering empty-handed.
This Walnut Molasses Pie will be the talk of the event.

For extra flavor, you should serve it with Vanilla ice cream, unsweetened whipped cream, or even creme fraiche.
When you are grateful for even the smallest of things that is when God can you bless with bigger things. I am a firm believer that having an attitude of gratitude can make a difference when things aren’t going your way or you feel down. It’s great to be surrounded by people we love on this day.
Some of us don’t get along with our families, and some of us have none. It is always great to have a great friend network outside of your family. It’s also a time to reflect on your personal and social boundaries.
If a conversation or situation becomes too much it is ok to remove yourself.
Happy Thanksgiving and may God shine His Love upon your heart so that you may give Him thanks, and Praise.
