With Sissy in the house, and expressions of sibling love abounding, we’ve had to remind the boys of the virtues of modesty.

After many years of answering the door in the buff, the boys seemed to develop their own sense of propriety, and we didn’t have to spend so much time explaining why they might want to quit streaking naked through the house, or into the back yard, or up the street and into the park. But a teenage girl requires even more privacy than we had worked our way up to, and it hasn’t always been a smooth transition.

Looking over old pictures tonight, I realized that we may have brought our current troubles on ourselves.  Most of the pictures are inappropriate for the internet, but I think this one gives a fairly accurate sense of where we may have made some mistakes.

Here they are outside of the Home Depot, where apparently they don't have indoor plumbing.

I’ll be back on Monday, for the last week of daily posts.  Have a great – and modest – weekend.
