“So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.” -Genesis 19:29

God remembers us. Even in times of trouble, he is looking out for his people. When we think of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible, the focus is often on God’s judgment. Yet we clearly see in verse 29 that God remembered Abraham. How do we know? God rescued Lot and his family from the destruction brought upon these cities.

Today, know that God remembers you. Who you are and what you do matter. God loves you and wants the best for your life. Do not live without purpose. Live God’s purpose. He remembers you.
