Titus 3: Reminders

Titus 3: Reminders 2011-10-12T18:01:17-04:00 Dillon Burroughs

LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

“1 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, 2 to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.” -Titus 3:1-2

Paul’s words to Titus and quick and to the point. How should Christians live? Submit to authorities, be obedient, do good, speak well of people, be considerate, be kind. It’s nearly short enough for a status update!

Why so short? Paul is telling Titus something he is to remind people of. They are already knew these teachings. This was the reinforcement.

Many times, we already know what we need to be doing to live right before God. We just need someone to remind us to do it.
