Four Paths of Yoga _ Sadhguru – Transcript
There are four ways to become meditative. You can use your body to reach the ultimate point which is called karma yoga. If you use your intelligence to reach your ultimate nature this is called jnana yoga. If you use your emotions to achieve your ultimate quality this is called bhakti yoga. The yoga of emotion or devotion. If you use your inner energies to reach your ultimate nature we call it kriya yoga. Once in a while these four yogi they went walking together. They never get used to being together because they did not get along well. Because those people who follow the path of intelligence or its meaning they dislike the others they think everybody else is foolish. The devoted man is sorry for others Karma yoga is the actions of men they think that people want to hide their laziness behind all kinds of philosophy. Kriya yogis feel absolute disdain for everyone. For in the end full existence all energy if you do not transform your energy then what? So these four people did not come out well. But they walked together today. Suddenly a big storm came. There was heavy rain and wind they started to run for shelter. The man of devotion said “Let’s go in this direction this is an ancient church!” You know the temples so they all ran. The walls of the church have long collapsed the pillars the roof everything. In the middle there was a deity a god image. They all went to the church. Then the storm grew bigger and dropped from all directions. To escape this they embraced the deity all four. Not because they became lovers of God but only to escape from the rain. And suddenly God appeared. All four of them thought the same thing: “Oh why now?” We yoga very much there was a lot of devotion worship and you did not come. And now we just escaped from the rain. Why did you come? God said: I was waiting for you to be four idiots you’re finally together. So these four must come together then you will be meditative. Now your mind goes in one direction your body in the other direction your emotions are in some other direction your energies are also. If we can somehow sort them out for a moment we see that there is another dimension within us.
