Does Age Matter in Leadership _ Sadhguru – Transcript
Sadhguru: I don’t even think it’s an issue either it’s now or in the past. It’s never been an issue. If somebody exhibited a certain level competence and success nobody is looking at your age Nobody is really considering the age at any time. Age was a factor when you were waiting to inherit something from your father he wouldn’t leave it till he is done with it okay? If you wanted to build something I don’t think age is a factor (Laughter)… Anybody who successfully does something irrespective of his age he is always recognized; nobody is even thinking whether he is young or old that’s a wrong notion. You must just focus on what you can create. Your age matters only if you are looking at marriage do you understand if you are looking at any other accomplishment I don’t see where age even comes in. I don’t think somebody has to think ‘I’m a young leader I’m an old leader.’ Are you capable of doing something that’ll inspire a million people? Are you capable of doing something that millions of people will want to make use of? This is all the question is. Who cares how old you are? It is within the minds of people who have not succeeded. It is those who have not succeeded who are complaining. Those who have succeeded are just focusing on what they need to do isn’t it (Laughs)?
