One of the most bizarre statements about Jesus Christ in a discussion by two men who obviously don’t know him [video]
Last updated on: July 13, 2020 at 8:04 pm By Bethany Blankley
In a conversation on CNN between two men who appear to not know who Jesus Christ is, and apparently have never read the Bible, Don Lemon asserted that those who believe in Jesus Christ believe in someone who “admittedly was not perfect when he was here on earth.” “Admittedly” to whom, and by whom? And according to whom or what supports such a claim? (ie. what imperfect acts did Jesus perform? How was he imperfect?) “Jesus Christ, if that’s who... Read more

Cuomo, de Blasio wrong to limit worship services, federal judge rules
Last updated on: June 28, 2020 at 9:40 am By Bethany Blankley
A federal judge said New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Attorney General Letitia James, and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio “exceeded” their executive limits by restricting religious worship services during the state’s coronavirus shutdown. U.S. District Judge Gary L. Sharpe issued a preliminary injunction Friday on behalf of two priests — Steven Soos and Nicholas Stamos — and three Orthodox Jewish congregants from Brooklyn — Elchanan Perr, Daniel Schonborn, and Mayer Mayerfeld, represented by the Thomas More Society. They filed the suit in the Northern District of New York after mass protests, riots and looting occurred in... Read more

Last updated on: June 25, 2020 at 10:16 am By Bethany Blankley
The Pacific Justice Institute (PJI) has appealed to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals after a lower court ruled that a church can be restricted in how it uses private property by a city. New Harvest Christian Fellowship has rented space on Main Street in Salinas for more than 25 years. Now roughly a congregation of 165 people, the church has outgrown its space. Its traditional worship services held on Sunday mornings is held in the building it rents but... Read more

Last updated on: June 25, 2020 at 9:42 am By Bethany Blankley

US Pastors Council “appalled” by Supreme Court ruling on sexuality
Last updated on: June 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm By Bethany Blankley
The U.S. Pastor Council, an inter-racial, inter-denominational organization of pastors, says it is “appalled” by the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on sexual discrimination in the workplace, and argues the court is legislating from the bench, which is outside of the scope of its constitutional authority. The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday ruled that the 1964 Civil Rights Act protects LGBTQ+ employees from discrimination in the workplace. In the 6-3 decision, Chief Justice John Roberts and conservative Justice Neil Gorsuch joined... Read more

The Upper Midwest Law Center, a Minnesota-based public interest law firm, which filed the motion, represents multiple Minnesota churches and small business owners in a lawsuit alleging the governor’s executive order is unconstitutional. The motion was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, with an expedited hearing... Read more

Rev. Danny Jones gives one of the best explanations about the coronavirus shutdown in roughly 30 min. [videos]
Last updated on: May 11, 2020 at 7:43 pm By Bethany Blankley
This is perhaps one of the best explanations about what is really going behind the coronavirus shutdown in less than 30 minutes. Rev. Danny Jones of Northlake Baptist Church in Georgia, explains how globalists have used the virus, just like previous world events, to expand control. He briefly mentions how Hegelian theory is used, and the roles of the Bill Gates Foundation and DARPA’s involvement in what has played out over the last year. The talk was recorded in two... AG Barr’s directive to protect constitutional rights of religious worship unprecedented
Last updated on: May 11, 2020 at 7:49 pm By Bethany Blankley
U.S. Attorney General William Barr has directed every U.S. Attorney “to be on the lookout for state and local directives that could be violating the constitutional rights and civil liberties of individual citizens.” The directive came after the Attorney General issued a Statement of Interest in support of a church in Mississippi whose congregants were fined $500 per person by city police for gathering in their cars in a parking lot worship service during their state’s shelter-in-place order. Congregants listened to the sermon on their car... Read more

Last updated on: May 12, 2020 at 10:25 am By Bethany Blankley
Following churches in Texas and California, two churches in Minnesota, along with small business leaders, have sued Gov. Tim Walz, alleging his executive orders to shut down the state violate the First, Fifth and 14th Amendments of the U.S. Constitution. The Upper Midwest Law Center (UMLC), a Minnesota-based public interest law firm, filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. This lawsuit poses different questions from a separate previously filed suit by the Free Minnesota Small Business... Read more
