Stuff I Like

Come back from time to time if you’d like. I’m just going to post stuff I like, as the header states.

My study, where I write this stuff. Built it myself a few years back. Click on image to enlarge.

My study from outside, on a warm summer night.

My Allan ESV imported from the UK…beautiful, supple goat skin. http://www.bibles-direct.co.uk/products/view.php?id=239&c=76

Dunkin Donuts, people.

My Jeeps.

My pulpit, designed by moi and custom made by a master furniture maker in my congregation from hand-selected quarter-sawn red oak.

My worm drive circular saw. This one is just a couple of years old. When I got into framing I was in seminary and I had a worm drive. Since sidewinders are more the norm here on the east coast I couldn’t find a worm drive anywhere. Then this new, lighter version of my old worm drive came on the market. I had to have it. It has so much torque it’ll come right out of your hand if when you squeeze the trigger if you don’t hold tight. Love it. Cuts through just about anything like butter. No sidewinder can match it. Beside, the blade is in plain view, no cranking your neck to see what you’re cutting. What people see in sidewinders is a mystery to me. (Author’s personal photo.)

My Banjo.

My wife. Here we were as newly weds.

The daughter is Valedictorian of her high school class. Here the wife and I are with my sweetie.
