Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.
The NRSV Single-Column Reference Bible, Comfort Print is a Bible in the premium line that Zondervan publishers, which is an amazing line of Bibles.
I love the look and feel of this Bible.
Like Zondervan’s other premium Bibles, it has a goatskin leather cover. Goatskin is far superior to cowhide.
Out of all the major translations, I’ve used the NRSV the least, but it’s a solid translation that I will be using more in my reading.
This Bible also features a sophisticated single-column design, which makes reading easy.
The gild is also interesting. It’s gold, but (at least to my eyes), when it’s turned to the left, it’s a soft purple.
A nifty feature.
This is a description from the publisher:
The NRSV Single-Column Reference Bible is set in Zondervan’s exclusive NRSV Comfort Print typeface, a thoroughly researched and tested typeface, that enables the most comfortable reading possible of God’s Word.
