A MUSIC CRITIC DID MORE RESEARCH ON TWITTER (WAITING FOR HIS KID TO COME HOME FROM A PLAYDATE) THAN THE POLITICAL/FINANCIAL PRO REPORTERS DO ON TRUMP– WHAT THE F#!K! 2016-09-17T12:38:06-06:00 Frank Schaeffer

This guy did more for actual journalistic investigation on Twitter than any TV network has done so far to expose some hard facts about the Trump lifetime scam. Read this then ask “Where the fuck are the ‘real journalists’ if this music critic can find all this?” Oh I know where they are, they are covering the Trump show as entertainment to boost ratings. And on such careless stupidity we slide into the grip of a fascist con artist… and his disgusting family too… proof positive TV has rotted the American brain…

… with a few exceptions:

The Late Show host Stephen Colbert took a close look at the Trump Foundation on Thursday night after you read these Tweets WATCH Colbert blow TRUMP out of the water (again!)

All charitable foundations have to file an annual 990PF. A 2014 990PF for the Donald J. Trump Foundation …

Rob Tannenbaum ‏@tannenbaumr Sep 15

At quick glance, a few things on the 990PF look fishy. For one: Trump gave $100K to the Citizens United Foundation.

Here’s another: the Trump Foundation gave $10K to the New York Jets Foundation.

Rob Tannenbaum ‏@tannenbaumr Sep 15

Relevance: the Jets are owned by Woody Johnson, a powerhouse GOP fundraiser who has been raising money for Trump’s campaign.

Rob Tannenbaum ‏@tannenbaumr Sep 15

I’m on the board of a very small foundation, and the IRS rules are very clear: you cannot give money to a charity if that gift benefits you.

Rob Tannenbaum ‏@tannenbaumr Sep 15

The 2014 990PF is the most recent return on file. In it, there are at least two dubious gifts from the Donald J. Trump Foundation.

Rob Tannenbaum ‏@tannenbaumr Sep 15

I’m not a CPA, an IRS agent, or an investigative reporter. But I did want to show how easy it would be for a reporter to find this shit.

Rob Tannenbaum ‏@tannenbaumr Sep 15

Also: the return lists five board members: Donald Sr. and Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Alan Weisselberg, treasurer. According to the form…

Rob Tannenbaum ‏@tannenbaumr Sep 15

each of the five spends 30 minutes per week on the foundation, which donated $539,450 in the calendar year. That is not possible…

While the Clinton Foundation has received a lot of media attention this election cycle, the Trump Foundation has generally flown under the radar in 2016 — even though it was once caught illegally donating to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi for what appeared to be a personal favor for Trump.

The Late Show host Stephen Colbert took a close look at the Trump Foundation on Thursday night. He noted that it’s undeniable the Clinton Foundation “has done real charity work — earthquake relief in Haiti, expanded access to HIV drugs in Africa, and, one assumes, working on a cure for secret pneumonia.” (The last one is a joke.)
