In early 2012, I had been keeping a low profile online for the past few years as I concentrated on full-time graduate study in theology. With the publication of my book My Peace I Give You: Healing Sexual Wounds with the Help of the Saints, it seemed like a good time to return to Catholic blog readers’ radar. This I was able to do thanks to Patheos Catholic Channel Editor Elizabeth Scalia, who offered me the opportunity to start my own blog on this site.

Times have changed, and I am now moving on from Patheos, as other commitments have to take priority. These commitments include writing my doctoral dissertation, blogging for GetReligion, and preparing for the publication of the Catholic edition of The Thrill of the Chaste (which you can read about in my recent America interview). Besides my work for GetReligion, I will still be around on The Dawn Patrol and Twitter.

I am grateful to Patheos, and especially to Elizabeth, for giving me this opportunity to reconnect with you. Please don’t forget me. I pray every day for all my readers, and that means you. God bless.
