God’s word changes everything forever and reminds every Christian to treasure Scripture every day. First, God’s Word guides forgiveness, strengthens marriage, and builds hope for the afterlife. Moreover, it shapes every decision with eternal wisdom instead of human opinion. “Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105, NKJV). For example, a student can reject peer pressure by following God’s truth.
Bible Neglect Makes Hearts Drift
Next, the human heart naturally drifts away from God without daily scripture. Furthermore, spiritual neglect happens slowly before anyone notices the danger. “Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23, NKJV). For example, a believer may slowly accept worldly values over biblical truth.
Scripture Anchors Daily Choices
Then, God’s Word anchors daily choices with lasting wisdom. Additionally, biblical truth protects Forgiveness, Marriage, and confidence about the afterlife. “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth” (John 17:17, NKJV). For example, an employee can choose honesty even when dishonesty seems easier.
Bible Neglect Weakens Forgiveness
Meanwhile, Bible neglect makes Forgiveness harder after painful experiences. Consequently, bitterness quietly replaces compassion inside the heart. “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32, NKJV). For example, a friend may refuse reconciliation after a small disagreement.
Forgiveness Reflects God’s Mercy
Likewise, true Forgiveness reflects God’s amazing mercy toward sinners. Therefore, believers should forgive because Christ forgave them first. “Forgive, and you will be forgiven” (Luke 6:37, NKJV). For example, a sister may forgive hurtful words instead of seeking revenge.
Grudges Hurt Spiritual Growth
However, grudges damage spiritual growth and personal peace. Furthermore, unforgiveness weakens Marriage and steals joy about the afterlife. “But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:15, NKJV). For example, a church member may avoid another believer for years.
Scripture Cleans Hidden Motives
Instead, Scripture reveals hidden motives that people often ignore. Consequently, God’s truth produces genuine forgiveness and lasting humility. “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10, NKJV). For example, a neighbor may replace resentment with kindness.
Bible Neglect Hurts Marriage
Meanwhile, Marriage weakens without regular Bible reading and prayer. Therefore, selfishness slowly replaces sacrificial love inside the home. “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her” (Ephesians 5:25, NKJV). For example, a husband may choose serving instead of complaining.
Marriage Needs Daily Grace
Additionally, every Marriage needs fresh grace from God’s Word. Likewise, daily Scripture encourages patience during difficult conversations. “Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love” (Romans 12:10, NKJV). For example, a wife may answer gently instead of speaking harshly.
Scripture Resolves Conflict
Next, Scripture teaches couples to solve conflict quickly and wisely. Consequently, Forgiveness protects Marriage from growing bitterness. “Do not let the sun go down on your wrath” (Ephesians 4:26, NKJV). For example, spouses can pray together before ending the day.
Bible Neglect Feeds Selfishness
Sadly, Bible neglect feeds selfish attitudes inside every relationship. Therefore, pride replaces humility without biblical correction. “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit” (Philippians 2:3, NKJV). For example, parents may demand control instead of serving each other.
God’s Word Strengthens Commitment
Moreover, God’s Word strengthens lifelong Marriage commitment through difficult seasons. Additionally, faithful love reflects God’s covenant with His people. “Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate” (Mark 10:9, NKJV).https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark+10%3A9&version=NKJVFor example, couples can remain faithful during challenging years.
Bible Neglect Opens Temptation
Meanwhile, Bible neglect opens the door to temptation and spiritual failure. Consequently, sin damages Forgiveness, Marriage, and afterlife hope. “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation” (Matthew 26:41, NKJV). For example, a teenager may follow harmful friends instead of Christ.
Scripture Gives Spiritual Strength
Likewise, Scripture gives strength for daily spiritual battles. Therefore, believers can resist temptation with God’s truth. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4, NKJV). For example, a believer can overcome anger through Scripture.
God’s Word Guards Judgment
Furthermore, God’s Word protects moral judgment in a confused culture. Consequently, biblical wisdom guides Forgiveness, Marriage, and afterlife priorities. “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word” (Psalm 119:9, NKJV). For example, a business owner can reject dishonest practices.
Bible Neglect Clouds Truth
However, neglecting Scripture makes worldly ideas appear acceptable. Therefore, people slowly confuse truth with popular opinion. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2, NKJV). For example, someone may excuse sinful behavior as normal.
False Teaching Misleads Believers
Next, false teaching spreads quickly without biblical knowledge. Moreover, God’s Word exposes spiritual deception before lasting damage occurs. “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine” (2 Timothy 4:3, NKJV). For example, an online teacher may promise blessings without repentance.
Scripture Keeps Eternity Clear
Afterward, Scripture reminds believers to value the afterlife above temporary success. Therefore, eternal rewards become more important than earthly wealth. “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” (Mark 8:36, NKJV). For example, a wealthy person still needs salvation through Christ.
Bible Neglect Creates False Security
Sadly, Bible neglect creates false confidence about salvation. Consequently, many trust religion instead of obeying Christ. “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 7:21, NKJV). For example, someone may attend church without following Jesus.
Scripture Gives Eternal Confidence
Thankfully, Scripture gives believers confidence about the afterlife. Likewise, God’s promises replace fear with lasting peace. “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13, NKJV). For example, a sick believer can face death with hope.
God’s Word Feeds Souls
Meanwhile, God’s Word nourishes the soul every single day. Therefore, believers become stronger through regular Bible reading. “Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart” (Jeremiah 15:16, NKJV). For example, families can read Scripture together every evening.
Scripture Softens Hard Hearts
Additionally, Scripture softens proud hearts through God’s loving correction. Consequently, humility replaces stubbornness and pride. “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts” (Hebrews 3:15, NKJV). For example, a church leader can accept wise corrections.
Returning Restores Joy
Fortunately, returning to Scripture brings restoration and renewed joy. Moreover, God gladly welcomes every repentant believer. “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul” (Psalm 19:7, NKJV). For example, a struggling family can rebuild peace through daily Bible reading.
Daily Reading Builds Faith
Finally, daily Bible reading strengthens faith through every season. Therefore, believers grow stronger with every chapter they read. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17, NKJV). For example, difficult trials become opportunities to trust God’s promises.
God’s Word Changes Everything Forever
Ultimately, God’s word changes everything forever and encourages every believer to treasure Scripture daily. Therefore, God’s truth strengthens Forgiveness, protects Marriage, and prepares hearts for the afterlife. Moreover, faithful Bible reading transforms character and produces lasting spiritual fruit. “Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” (Luke 11:28, NKJV). For example, Christians who read Scripture daily become stronger witnesses for Christ.
