Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is really into healthy living – she practices yoga and uses natural skincare products. But when it comes to her food, she can’t quite subscribe to a vegetarian or vegan diet. “Come on, I’m Brazilian,” she says, referring to the national love of meat products. She adds:

So what I find really helpful–you might think I’m crazy–is that before I eat any meat I always take one second of silence to put my hands over it and bless it and be grateful at least that it was a life.

Is that a good compromise – or is she chickening out?
