(Hello! Are you new to my blog? Welcome! You’ll want to catch up, as this is the final segment of a 4 part series to give you some idea of the background of my work and where I’m going with it. Here’s #1; here’s #2; and here’s #3.)

Though this specific path of trying to understand how power works is my own, I know that it is epically common. Having worked with thousands of clients over three decades, I’ve watched as their struggles mirrored mine. Individually, clients come in describing the depth of their own personal darkness, be it from the effects of trauma, debilitating depression, or unyielding anxiety. Couples universally talk about their poor communication, wondering whatever happened to the euphoria of being in love, as they dig themselves out of layers and layers of missteps—affairs, addictions, avoidance of intimacy, and the general malaise of long-term compromise. Hour after hour after hour (around 40,000 to date) I’ve sat with people, puzzling over the mystery: what do all of these issues have in common?

This blog, Evolutionary Power, answers that question. I see it now, a fascinating pattern that is behind these seemingly disparate human experiences. I see the vast impact of Reactive Brain versus Creative Brain on the quality of our consciousness and our moment-to-moment experience of reality. I understand how being aware of our basic physiology actually opens a gateway to unexplored realms. My plan is to give you a clear understanding of a brand-new way to interface with your own power, be it what is going on interpersonally or what is happening in your moment-to-moment inner world. You’ll see how our mammalian roots have primed us for hierarchy and how that has served humanity’s ability to survive over the eons; how that the dominance/submission behind hierarchy inevitably leads to conflict, unhappiness, and addiction;

I know that if you’re reading this you’re part of this glorious planetary shift we’re all experiencing. I imagine that you’ve immersed yourself in different concepts and a variety of tools already. As you follow the paradigm I’ll lay out for you, what you’ve already learned will come together in a cohesive whole. Meanwhile, I’ll offer new ways of thinking about what you already know, and more practices that will support you to cultivate your true power.

What an incredible opportunity for me, that I get to share what I’ve learned out to the ethers, to the farthest reaches of our planet. I know how honored I am to have some of your precious time and attention. I vow not to waste that, but to provide you with the pithiest and most powerful concepts and practices that I’ve honed over these many years.
