A Meditation on Thanksgiving

Last updated on: November 16, 2018 at 7:51 am   By Casey Tygrett

I would love to resurrect that tradition starting today. With Thanksgiving approaching in the U.S., it feels like an appropriate time for a prayer about gratitude. As we prepare for Thanksgiving week, here is a script for you to chew on with God. Blessings friends. O God, We are... Read more

Last updated on: November 14, 2018 at 5:01 pm   By Casey Tygrett

Last updated on: November 7, 2018 at 10:03 am   By Casey Tygrett

After extensive conversation about what hurts and what doesn’t, we set to work on my ITB (iliotibial band) which is a tendon that runs from your hip down the outside of your leg and across the front of your knee. There was an elbow digging into my thigh. There was... Read more

How We Got Here

Last updated on: November 4, 2018 at 2:10 pm   By Casey Tygrett

I started my first blog in 2006. Writing as a pastor in a small farming village, I began writing as many people do. Without a clue what I was doing. With such limited wisdom but with an increase of willingness to share that limitation with the world. Much has changed in life since then. I grew up in the chemical valley of southern West Virginia, in the town of Hurricane, and felt my way to faith in a spirited conservative... Read more
