Give an Awesome(r) Gift on Cyber Monday while Helping Families around the World {+ GIVEAWAY} 2011-11-28T14:23:32-04:00 Grace Sandra

LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

It’s Cyber Monday & if your like me your having hard time getting anything done on your computer due to an obnoxious amount of aggressive emails boasting of their “FANTASTIC” & “AMAZING” Cyber Monday bargains. Ugh.  Sometimes, y’all it’s just good for me to be redirected like a 2 year old is redirected when they start eating their boogers.

Allow me to redirect you to something so much more important that buying yourself or others yet another hdtv, camera or Old Navy puffy coat.

Here’s a GREAT opportunity to buy a meaningful and affordable gift for a friend while also making a difference in the lives of kiddo’s living in poverty across the globe.

This is what’s really important, y’all…as much as those boots are amazeballs.

When you buy for someone from World Vision’s Gift Catalog, you also choose to give to someone else with a very real need.  Watch this 1:30 second YouTube video made especially for you to see how your shopping World Vision can make a huge impact.

Check out their True Spirit of Christmas Facebook Page.  For the 3rd yr. World Vision staff will be traveling across the world to the impact these goats, sheep & other gifts are having on the actual day-to-day lives of the families and their kiddos.

Thanks to World Vision, I’ll be offering a giveaway of a Thai bracelet / necklace / belt that was made in a project that helps protect vulnerable girls form exploitation. In exchange for this post I was lucky enough to snag one myself…

Isn’t it so lovely?

I will wear it as a bracelet, I will wear it in my hair, I will wear it as a belt, I will wear it everywhere!

(Did you like my impromptu poem?)  But for real, I will wear it in all those places.

So.  What are you waiting for?  Get to awesome(r) Cyber Monday shopping!

Later today, R1 & I will pick some gifts for a few loved ones in our family as well.  Join us!
