No Biskie Beauty for me.  It’s a boy.

The saddest part of the whole day was when the ultrasound first started it happened to be right there on the parts & at first I saw three little lines (what your looking for with a girl) & I thought, “I knew it!  I knew it was a girl!”  I was so happy for like 3 seconds & then all of a sudden it’s like his little penis just popped up out of nowhere!  And then she said, “yep, I can tell you with 99.9% surety it’s a boy.”  I couldn’t help but say out loud, “uh.  I’m so depressed.”  Dave & her both look mortified.  I did cry a little as I laid there, but I tried to hold it in as best as possible.  He is in every way healthy & I am grateful for that.  I’m sure this will get better as the day goes on.  We’ll name him soon and that will also help with bonding.  For now though disappointed, I love him.  I can’t wait to meet him.

A few hours later I called in for my radio interview ~ it was fun.  The coolest part was at the beginning when there was a recorded song of her intro jingle & then it said “going live in 5…. 4….. 3….. 2…. “Welcome!  Your listening to the Saila Rachelle Show…”  It all felt very official & very cool. 🙂  I guess I did okay.  I wonder if I ever get to a point where I’m doing more interviews like say for book promotions, if I’ll get more & more comfortable with it.  I hope so.

Again, if you want to listen in, the interview airs Sat. June 6 at 4:45pm (in Atlanta) on 1570am, “The Light,” or you can find it anytime after that on www.wigoam.com
