Sunflower on a meadow in the light of the setting sun

“In your light, I learn how to love.

In your beauty, how to make poems.

You dance inside my chest where no-one sees you,

but sometimes I do,

and that sight becomes this art.”

~by Jalal id-din Rumi

It is the light of God within you
that attracts me to love you.

It is the Divine beauty that emanates from you
that inspires poetry to spring forth from my heart.

When my love for you meets the love of you,
they dance together under the full moon.

The artistry produced by this love
can only be witnessed by the sincere lover
of the Essence of the One.

Wishing you a Valentine’s Day filled with the Love of Love!
