LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

Every Friday, I post a link to a blog post written by one of my fellow bloggers at Patheos, a web portal devoted to religion and spirituality. I encourage my blog readers to click through to read these posts, comment, and if you like what you read, follow these bloggers as well.

This week I’m featuring a post from Patheos’s “What She Said” blog, where female Patheos bloggers take turns writing about faith and family.

Nancy French wrote a gorgeous post about her daughter, adopted from Ethiopia, and the joy she finds in beautiful things, especially clothes. It’s a lovely story of adoption as well as how things of beauty can be more than just things. You can read it here. (And the photos of her daughter are pretty adorable too.)
