This is a desperate call for help by this guy in Chandigarh whose family is being targeted in what is akin to reverse-dowry situation… it is strange bt true that some unscrupulous parents of girls use the current anti-dowry act to mess up men too. This may be one of the examples.

This is to bring to your notice the atrocities that were recently committed in chandigarh by a group of people with the police giving us a cold shoulder. Around 30 people brutally beat up me and my family (including my brother, father, old and ailing mother and my wife, at Sector 35 B, Chandigarh) in front of a large number of witnesses. Since we are still under murder threats and are all helpless right now as far as the law and police officials of chandigarh are concerned, I’m writing this letter to you as a cry of help to bring this matter to the limelight so that our lives and safety can be assured.
