I woke up perplexed.  I usually complete my sleep cycles before I awaken, but I was still fully immersed in a dream as I meandered into consciousness.

I wandered the front area of a home I didn’t recognize.  Passing family photos and memorabilia, I entered a room where a five or six-year-old girl played on the floor. She seemed content as she played alone. Since she looked down at her hands, her blonde hair hid her face.

In my dream, I knew her and I loved her. Despite my intense affection, I never spoke to her.  I noticed this in my dream. I typically speak to everyone, especially when feeling such love, so I pulled back while “watching” myself in the dream calculating what was wrong.

In the dream, I continued standing towards the young girl. My mind in searching for the disconnect I felt, began searching my surroundings.  I determined I was in the living room of a smaller, older style ranch home. Wallpaper hung on the walls from the ceiling to a wainscotting. I saw a piano. I watched the girl’s game.

My intense searching moved me closer to the girl. She looked up at me, acknowledging me. She mentally communicated to me though I remained mute. I smiled at her. Somehow, in an instant, I communicated love. Love spread throughout the room like dawn in a darkness.

She laughed, her gratitude palpable. I smiled back and filled the room with light.

A kind voice entered the room. “What are you laughing at?” Her mother!

Mom sat near the girl, joining the play for a moment. But though present, mom was distracted. The girl turned to mom but glanced often at me smiling her gratitude.

I silently stood still emanating love light through the room.

My inquisitive mind jerked in realization. I AM DEAD!

Mom didn’t see me. I didn’t speak to anyone or join in the play. Only the young girl acknowledged my presence, and that silently. We communicated energetically. She continued to feel my love. Mom never acknowledged me or the light I shared.

Suddenly, a dark chaos began seeping into the room. Her dad catapulted himself into the space—angry, violent, vengeful. By some unwritten law, as he entered, I passed through him—apparently hoping to dissipate some of the darkness—into a room I hadn’t seen.

As anger increased in the living room, I found myself in a darkened room with large glass windows overlooking something luminous. I walked to the window to discover the night scene’s luminosity, I found myself directly overlooking a temple. It’s brightness so filled the area that I couldn’t see anything else outside the window besides the temple.

Light streamed through the window in my dream

I felt it’s light reverberate against my face. It bathed me in light as I stood in darkness.  It was like the sun and I reflected its light like the moon in a sea of blackness.

I heard discord continue, but I wasn’t allowed to return or intercede. As I stood silently facing the temple, I reflected its light to the girl. I knew she felt our connection. I knew that she could withstand the agency of her dad. I knew that Heaven sent me to communicate love in bitter circumstances.

And I awoke.

I laid in the emerging dawn reliving and reviewing the dream. I experienced it so vividly. I felt such profound emotions. I could recognize the family on the street. Consciously, I felt visceral pain for the girl as her father injured her. Her upturned, acknowledging acceptance of my love overrode the anguish I felt for her. She recognized my role in bringing divine love and her gratitude blessed me.

The lingering thoughts remained fixed on the astonishing light emanating from the temple. My soul tethered to it. I saw how, in my dream, I could reflect and multiply the light I absorbed. That light ministered to another soul, strengthening her.

And if your eye be single to my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light, and there shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things.
