Not exactly. You can see the AP video report below.

Here’s a roundup of some leads in the coverage from some mainstream media outlets late today. You can click on the links for the complete story and pictures.

From The Washington Post:

President Trump and Vice President Pence surprised thousands of protesters demonstrating against abortion on the Mall in Washington by making unannounced speeches at Friday’s March for Life.

Pence and his wife, Karen Pence, strode onstage to the delighted cheers of a roaring crowd carrying antiabortion posters and banners. Then Pence concluded his remarks with a second surprise: Trump, who addressed the march by video feed last year, had again prepared videotaped remarks for the marchers.

“When we look into the eyes of a newborn child, we see the beauty and the human soul and the majesty of God’s creation. We know that every life has meaning,” Trump said in his video, before listing his administration’s antiabortion actions and vowing to reject any legislation passed by the new Democratic-controlled House that “weakens” the campaign to prevent abortion access.

From USA TODAY:

Thousands of anti-abortion activists, including many young people bundled up against the cold weather gripping the nation’s capital, gathered at a stage on the National Mall Friday for their annual march in the long-contentious debate over abortion.

Signs reading “Choose love, Choose life,” “I am the pro-life generation,” and “Defund Planned Parenthood” dotted the crowd gathering under hazy, wintry skies at the morning rally.

Like last year, President Donald Trump addressed the group by video. He promised to veto any bill that “weakens the protection of human life.”

Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, who attended the event, listed actions the administration has taken over the past two years to deter abortions.

Trump noted that the administration has ensured foreign aid doesn’t flow to organizations that promote abortion. Pence credited Trump with nominating conservative judges to the federal bench.

Rep. Daniel Lipinski, D-Ill., who is one of the only anti-abortion Democrats in the House, also addressed the morning rally. Ben Shapiro, a popular conservative commentator, was the featured speaker.

From The New York Times:

Anti-abortion demonstrators descended on the National Mall in Washington on Friday for an annual rally a day after Republicans in the Senate were slowed in their efforts to advance a ban on federal abortion funds.

Organizers had pledged to go on with the event, called the March for Life, in a capital full of shuttered federal agencies because of a partial government shutdown.

While thousands of demonstrators marched and cheered on guest speakers, the climate in Washington this year was not the same as a year ago, when Mr. Trump hosted some of the marchers in the Rose Garden with enthusiasm after having just broadened religious freedom protections for health care providers who were opposed to performing abortions and gender reassignment surgery.

From CNN:

Crowds of people packed the National Mall on Friday for the March for Life, an annual march against abortion.

Citizens from all corners of the United States braved the frigid weather, chanted anti-abortion slogans, waved flags and hoisted signs as activists and lawmakers argued against the practice of abortion.

The event included a video message from President Donald Trump and an address by Vice President Mike Pence.

A quick Google search also turned up reports on a wide array of local news outlets, plus NBC News and NPR.

Nobody could accurately measure the crowd size on the day of the event, but one website noted:

Although exact crowd numbers aren’t available, organizers said they expected 100,000 people to participate, but some later said as many as 200,000 to 300,000 might have been at the event.
