I’m getting really tired of these fascist professors who claim to be open-minded when their views are more closed than anyone else’s.

Norou Diawara is one of them. He is an associate professor at Old Dominion University in Virginia, and apparently, he gets to decide who is and isn’t an American. He sent an e-mail to the Coalition of Black Faculty and Administrators and some graduate students telling them he is “not happy at all with the state of the affairs in the USA” and expressed his sadness that “we have come to this level.” The purpose of his writing was to inform his colleagues about a few upcoming events scheduled on campus, including a rally organized by Democrats to show support for refugees and oppose President Trump’s executive order banning travel from terror-tied countries in the Middle East.

But Diawara added an addendum — a threat, almost — to the end of his e-mail. It was in all caps, so you know he REALLY meant it:

BUT REALLY SCREW YOU IF YOU CANNOT GO TO ANY OF THESE EVENTS. YOU ARE NOT AMERICAN.

With Very Best Regards,

Norou

I really like that last part.

Diawara regretted sending the message and typed up a new one to apologize for his lapse in judgment. The Blaze wasn’t given the all of the second e-mail but said the professor told his colleagues, “we should not be sitting down and being passive” with Trump’s travel ban.

“I hope we can all take care of each other instead of being passive,” Diawara wrote, sans all caps.

Old Dominion University Provost Austin Agho condemned the professor’s first e-mail saying it didn’t reflect the school’s values, but also promised that ODU “nurtures a climate of care, concern and civility toward others.”

Yeah, it sounds like it.
