Recently, Milwaukee Chief of Police Ed Flynn had the audacity to stand before the people in this city and blame law-abiding gun owners for the spike in violent crime. That’s a blatant lie, and he knows it.

Here’s the reality: There is no evidence — ZERO — that concealed handgun license holders in Milwaukee are committing any crimes or contributing to the spike. That remains the sole responsibility of the thugs waging war on our streets. The chief straight up lied when he said otherwise. He’s motivated by his anti-gun zealotry and his relationship with anti-gun Mayor Tom Barrett — a prominent member of Mayors Against Illegal Guns which should be renamed, Mayors Against the Second Amendment. I mean, isn’t everybody but criminals against illegal guns? What a ludicrous title. That group is nothing but a front for anti-2A rights for Americans.

The chief and mayor don’t want to face the facts. Since the concealed carry law was passed in Wisconsin, people have finally been given a chance to defend themselves, and now, the criminal element is beginning to second guess their decision to carry out their crimes because now they run the risk of facing an armed defender.

People are born with the right to defend themselves and for leaders like Ed Flynn and Mayor Barrett to work so hard to take that right away is appalling.
