Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.
Shoshone Falls, in Twin Falls County, Idaho, with moderately high water level
If you’re along the Wasatch Front or in Idaho’s Magic Valley, you should probably save the following dates — so that, according to your preference, you can either attend one of my lectures or make alternate plans that will enable you to avoid them like the plague:
1.
On the evening of Friday, 7 April 2017, I’ll be speaking in the Twin Falls, Idaho, area on the subject of Islam. I’ll have more details on that as the date draws closer.
2.
Prior to that, on Tuesday, 28 March 2017, I’ll be speaking at the Cruise Lady Event Center in West Jordan, Utah:
7 PM, Tuesday, 28 March 2017
“Defending the Faith: Introducing the Interpreter Foundation”
Joseph Smith and his claims have been under attack since even before the publication of the Book of Mormon and the founding of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this lecture, I’ll discuss ongoing efforts to defend those claims and to argue for their truth. “Be ready always,” wrote the apostle Peter, “to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you” (1 Peter 3:15).
