- Church mergers are a beautiful picture of the Gospel.
- Preaching the Bible brings me life.
- The Bible really is a living book.
- A Proverb a day keeps stupidity at bay.
- Writing is something I love and want to do more in the next season.
- Children really do grow up too fast.
- God is not out to “get me.â€
- God “gets me.â€
- The difference between the last two is a game-changer.
- I love naps. Long naps.
- I married way out of my league. Like middle school B-team (me) with a MLB all-star (Katie).
- I love helping people lean into what God is doing in their lives.
- God has called me to communicate the God of the Bible to people who think they know who He is.
- Dogs are therapy for my wife.
- Smoking meat on the Big Green Egg is therapy for me.
