The aim of Christians in Education is to encourage all Christians working in the world of education, to challenge them to be the salt and light that Jesus challenges us all to be, and to inspire them to live out their faith in contemporary culture.

It is run by Gill Robins who was, until recently, a senior education manager in the UK Primary (4-11) sector. She specialised in English and music, becoming a leading English teacher, supporting and training colleagues. Gill now works as a writer and consultant. Her diverse research interests include engendering a love of classic books in children, and the affect of praise on learning motivation.
