Rainwater Foundation’s Fight for Dementia Cures 2012-04-11T20:33:14+00:00 Christian Piatt

LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

My friend, Todd Rainwater, recently appeared on CNBC to talk about his and his father’s foundation, the Rainwater Foundation, and the work they are doing to help find cures for dementia-related illness.

Todd’s father, Richard, suffers from a rare neurological disorder (explained in the clip), which spurred the family’s interest in not only helping him, but hopefully in finding cures for other illnesses such as Parkinson’s, Dementia and Alzheimer’s as well.

Please take a quick look to learn more about what they’re doing. You can learn more about the Rainwater Charitable Foundation by clicking the link here. They do a lot with children as well, among other good work.
