Christians Everywhere Begin Making Preparations For Pokemon GO Sermon References 2016-07-13T09:03:13-05:00 Jack Lee

11011684893_72b2f6ef7c_bTULSA, OK – Christians all over the world have started making preparations for the expected onslaught of the Pokemon GO sermon references, puns and analogies expected in this week’s sermons.

One local church in particular, 3rd Free Will Baptist Church of Tulsa, is going to extraordinary efforts to, not only help their members prepare, but to also offer a special “Healing Service” for those tattered by the poor sermon references.

“We’ve spent all day making sure we have enough food and water to survive this thing; it’s going to be severe” commented one church employee. “We’re expecting bad puns and terrible analogies, but we are going to get through it. This service is open to the public. We won’t leave until we know everyone is OK. This is safe, pun-free, place.”

If social media activity is any indication, these “Pikachu Preppers” as they are being called, might just be on to something. Tweets and Facebook feeds are being filled with posts from pastors desperately trying to find clever ways to use the phrases, “what was once lost is now found” and “seek and you shall find” in association with the recent Pokemon Go craze.

For those that cannot attend the healing services, it is recommended those Christians make sure they have plenty of water and find the most interior room of their church to take shelter. “If you can’t get help here, please get help somewhere,” added Charlene Wilson, a local Pikachu Prepper. “They’re coming and if you’re not ready you will regret it”

Most experts expect the bad PokemonGO sermon puns to mirror the mobile game craze and end in a few weeks.
