Last updated on: August 23, 2018 at 10:34 am By Guest Contributor
The promise that God would never leave or forsake God’s children. We can experience the same hope that the writer has. The hope that because God has done for us before we can have faith that God will do for us again. Just because things have not yet been restored to the way they should be does not mean they will not be. Read more

CBF Podcast: Jonathan Merritt and Learning to Speak God from Scratch
Last updated on: August 15, 2018 at 11:51 am By Guest Contributor
By Andy Hale People are generally content with using the language with which they are familiar and comfortable. This is especially true when it comes to talking about God. In turn, what if a reexamination of the words we use to talk about God lead us to rethink... Read more

Who is My Neighbor?
Last updated on: August 2, 2018 at 11:56 am By Guest Contributor
My neighbor is the one who feels left behind in a changing world. Hopes of economic opportunity, upward mobility and a more secure and better life have been snatched away by the negative effects of technological advance and globalization. Despite hard work and loyalty to the institutions of society and the workplace, this neighbor feels the loss of income stability and a growing insecurity about their place in a world of ever more diverse religion, culture and values. Everything I Know About the Doctrine of the Holy Trinity, I Learned from Waylon Jennings
Last updated on: July 24, 2018 at 1:47 pm By Guest Contributor
Many pastors will tell you, if they feel they can be honest, they can't explain the uniquely Christian doctrine of the Trinity any better than a newborn baby could. One theologian said trying to explain the Trinity is like asking oysters to explain a ballerina. Read more

Last updated on: July 5, 2018 at 9:52 am By Guest Contributor
