LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

By Andy Hale

As clergy, it is easy for us to prostitute ourselves out for more clicks, shares, and likes. Instead of the number of books sold, followers on Twitter, and shares of our latest blog post, are we okay with just being the pastors of a local church?

Socrates is credited with saying, “He who is not contented with what he has, would not be contented with what he would like to have.”

We sat down with the author of The Liturgy of the Ordinary to discuss the rhythm of her life and being content with not looking to write the next book, and the next book, and the next book.

Besides being an award-winning writer, Tish Harrison Warren is an Anglican priest, serving in the role of Co-Associate Rector at Church of the Ascension in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
