LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

By Andy Hale

We live such transient lives. For most, we no longer live in the same town, let alone the same state, we grew up.

This disconnect from our familial roots causes us to not know the stories of those that came before us. More often than not, we do not know the stories of those who live in our community.

Emmy Award winning storyteller Melvin Bray is driven to be a facilitator and strategist to make beloved community tangible in the West End neighborhood of Southwest Atlanta.

“My task is to start conversation on intersectionality and sustainability. I am constantly asking, how do we make beloved community a reality,” said Bray.
