It’s no secret that this time of year is my absolute favorite time. I love when the temperatures dip enough to warrant warm, fuzzy socks and cozy sweaters, plus I love the explosion of color that appears when the leaves change and start to fall.

Even if you’re rushing in the morning, try this simple thing to connect with the season and infuse your day with magic: whatever your morning beverage of choice happens to be, fill your favorite mug, wrap a scarf around your neck, and step outside. Drink your preferred potion mindfully, listening to the sounds of the season surrounding you, and with each sip, feel the possibility and energy of fall infusing your being.

I don’t know about you, but I can down a cup of tea or coffee in under ten minutes. Surely, we can carve ten minutes out of our days to slow down, breathe, and connect with the bounty of this season, right?
