LOGO Patheos Explore the world's faith through different perspectives on religion and spirituality! Patheos has the views of the prevalent religions and spiritualities of the world.

I am thrilled to announce the birth of our newest bundle of joy, Sophia Rose! She arrived on September 25th, a week past her due date, and weighed in at an even 8 pounds. We are all in awe of her cuteness and littleness, and even our only son, who was really pulling for a brother (after having 4 sisters!) can’t get enough of her.

For all of you who have been praying for our family during this pregnancy, thank you so much! We still can’t believe that we get to have Sophia home with us – honestly, it is a dream come true. We chose the name Sophia because we hope that she will always remind us of God’s infinite wisdom, and Rose is in honor of Our Blessed Mother, and is also the middle name for all of our girls.

This giraffe might be our new best friend – the heartbeat sound helps to keep Sophia asleep!

With that, I’m off to sneak in a quick nap!

Heading home from the hospital in the traditional “ducky” outfit – we have to keep things gender-neutral since we don’t find out before birth!

After 6 babies, you would think that we would have the obligatory “hospital family photo” figured out…Sadly, someone always looks very unhappy!
