The Holy Spirit Has A Message For You (And He Made Me Change My Blog!)

Last updated on: July 24, 2019 at 9:03 pm By Gary Zimak

I had this great post planned for today, but the Holy Spirit messed everything up because he has a message for you. Here’s what happened. I started the day by doing my weekly Stop Worrying and Start Living segment on EWTN Radio’s Son Rise Morning Show. I chose a Bible verse that emphasizes the importance of putting our own worries aside and helping someone else. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are... I Know God Is With Me, But I Don’t Feel Any Better. Now What?

Last updated on: July 23, 2019 at 10:52 pm By Gary Zimak

Yesterday, I wrote about the importance of understanding that God will not allow you to face any situation you can’t handle. In other words, if God brings you to it, he will bring you through it. What about if you just don’t feel it? You might understand it in your head, but not feel it in your heart. I know God is with me, but I need more. What can I do? I have to be honest and tell you... If God Brings You To It, He Will Bring You Through It!

Last updated on: July 22, 2019 at 10:20 pm By Gary Zimak

You might not realize it, but you go into battle every day. The fact that you can’t see your enemies doesn’t mean that they aren’t there. When faced with life’s daily struggles (financial issues, illness, loneliness), we can sometimes lapse into fear and anxiety. In order to maintain your peace when faced with difficulties, there is something you need to remember… If God brings you to it, he will see you through it! The Lord is always by your side... The Question Nobody Ever Asks About Martha And Mary…

Last updated on: July 21, 2019 at 6:42 pm By Gary Zimak

Today at Mass, the gospel centered on Martha and Mary. I’ve heard the details hundreds of times, but I still enjoy the story. Jesus entered a village where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him. She had a sister named Mary who sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak. Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving? Tell her to help... Read more

Last updated on: July 20, 2019 at 4:21 pm By Gary Zimak

It can be extremely challenging to recognize God’s presence in our daily lives. I have struggled with this for many years. The Mass Readings from the 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time are all about recognizing and appreciating the Lord’s constant presence. Abraham knew that the Lord was with him and so did Mary, as she sat at his feet and listened to his words. What about you? This week on The Gary Zimak Show, we’ll break open these readings and... I Waited For The Lord And He Answered Me In A Surprising Way!

Last updated on: July 17, 2019 at 10:00 pm By Gary Zimak

I Prayed… Recently, I had this problem and I brought it to the Lord in prayer. I believed that he would answer, but I didn’t know how or when. A few days passed, but nothing changed. I kept praying, confident that he heard me and knew that he would answer when the time was right. I can’t say that I was totally patient, but I tried. I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. (Psalm... Read more
