I understand their pain.\u00a0 As a Jewish New Yorker, my Facebook feed could be a little misleading.\u00a0 While I was scrolling my friends\u2019 posts yesterday, I wondered how my feed might look if I had grown up in a small town in Mississippi.\u00a0 Would my experiences and those of my friends look different?<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

I see the same friends I grew up with posting daily about the dangers of antisemitism in our country.\u00a0 I do understand their pain.\u00a0 Furthermore, I am saddened they feel the need to keep posting about it.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

I love their passion, but it\u2019s almost cool to hate Jews now.\u00a0 Their posts are not going to change anyone\u2019s mind.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

I believe this now more than ever.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been seeing an increasing percentage of Jews and Christians posting lately about how since they are humans, they can\u2019t sit idly by while Israel commits Genocide.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jewish friends and Christians who believe in the sanctity of the holy land, I\u2019m here to tell you we are losing the fight.\u00a0 I too had a recent antisemitic incident regarding my latest post last weekend.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the article Jews Should Never Vote For The Left | Evan Wechman (patheos.com)<\/a>, I explained how Israel needed America\u2019s support and was the victim in this case.\u00a0 It seems like everybody wants to bury the facts about October 7th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

To my surprise, a reader who refused to identify himself by his name commented on my article. He disagreed with it and thought America and Biden were helping Israel too much.\u00a0 Nothing too hateful yet.\u00a0 But then he said that Israel shouldn\u2019t be committing genocide when they were upset about what Germany did to them.\u00a0 Yes, he was equating Israel\u2019s right to defend themselves with the Holocaust.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

I was furious and immediately started writing back, but then I stopped.\u00a0 Thank God I did.\u00a0 Because nothing productive could have transpired.\u00a0 This reader was far gone, and I couldn\u2019t change his mind, no matter how hard I tried.\u00a0 I did the most moral thing possible which was to delete the comments and ban him from posting again.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

This latest problem has resulted in some questions for me.\u00a0 One might say I\u2019ve lost my purpose.\u00a0 Do my weekly articles do anything?<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

I started writing articles defending Jews and Israel because of the disgusting hate that has overtaken the once great nation of America.\u00a0 But it seems like most of America has made up its mind. They hate us. And possibly, it\u2019s time to move on.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

I want my Jewish friends to know that though my savior maybe different, I see them, and I hear them. It\u2019s painful to be Jewish these days.\u00a0 There\u2019s too much hate, and people aren\u2019t remaining quiet anymore.\u00a0 The enemy is acting out every chance they get.\u00a0 The hate crimes against us are growing every day, and maybe we have completely misjudged this country.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

I have nowhere else to go.\u00a0 I was born here, and I don\u2019t even own a passport (though one has been ordered). Maybe it\u2019s time for us all to leave.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

I read a blog the other day. I\u2019m not sure I understand it, but the title jumped out at me. It\u2019s called Why Do They Hate Us? | Ezra M. Tawil | The Blogs (<\/a>timesofisrael.com) Read\u00a0it if you wish as I had trouble understanding the author\u2019s point.\u00a0 But the title is alarming.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

I\u2019m left wondering whether we should even be trying to get inside the heads of these Hamas defenders.\u00a0 Do Jewish psychologists have to understand the whole life of Hitler to know he was deranged.<\/p>\n

They hate us and perhaps there is no turning back.<\/p>\n
