Guest Post: Why I Am A Faerie Witch

Last updated on: May 2, 2014 at 12:54 am   By Niki Whiting

Willow Moon shares his journey to Faerie witchcraft and why it's his preferred tradition: "Faerie witchcraft is a religion for those who love individual freedom and who cannot live as a sheep following wolves. We do not insult our Gods by trampling on Their greatest gift to us of 'free will.' By exercising our free will to think and act for ourselves we give the highest honor to the Gods." Read more

He is not here, He is risen!

Last updated on: April 21, 2014 at 5:35 am   By Niki Whiting

Even though we are not a Christian household and even though Jesus is not my god, I love the power of the resurrection story. In a world in which horrible things happen every day, and some days reading the news (heck, just reading the headlines) can overwhelm me, knowing that love wins, hope springs eternal, and one person fully aligned with the divine can move mountains is a powerful antidote to the weary, cynical and depressing elements in life. Read more

Values

Last updated on: April 8, 2014 at 1:18 pm   By Niki Whiting

I argue that Feri is highly amoral and yet is highly ethical. To carry the distinction further, I think Feri has a core set of values, though these are expressed in as many ways as there are practitioners of the tradition. Here is my take on values, as seen through the Iron Pentacle. Read more
