3.  “I’m just not attracted to him/her anymore.”

This is a heartbreaking excuse, and unfortunately, it’s a pretty common one.  But, this excuse doesn’t just stem from a lacking physical attraction to one another; it has a lot to do with outside influences like pornography.  We live in a world obsessed with perfection and hyper-sexual behaviors.  And, the porn industry is at an all-time high.  It’s more accessible than ever AND more acceptable than ever in society.  But, it spoils and sometimes destroys the marital bed.  Porn and porn-like images train our mind to only desire what they have to offer.  Then, we become disillusioned and disappointed with our normal-looking spouse and sex life.  Sex is about so much more than the physical, although physical attraction is certainly part of it.  We should be intentional about taking care of our bodies by eating right, exercising, and getting adequate rest as much as we can, but it’s even more important that we tend to our hearts and minds.  The couples with the best sex lives aren’t necessarily the most attractive couples; they are the most emotionally-connected and committed couples who refuse to settle for a boring sex life.

If you and your spouse are struggling with attraction to one another and are tired of having a boring sex life, I encourage you to get more connected to one another by checking out our resource called Best Sex Life Now, by clicking here.
